Hi!

Ihave 1 GB allocated space for running Seti, CP and Predictor and I still got this message from CP :

12/03/2005 08:42:26|climateprediction.net|Message from server: No work available (there was work but you don't have enough disk space allocated)

Disk preferences can be tricky because there are three different settings all of which have to meet the minimum requirements, and sometimes they do not seem to work first time even then.

There is a recent thread here on the topic, and you will find others if you search the questions and problems page.

1GB between 3 projects probably is not enough. CP needs something like 700MB per work unit and I think BOINC will be sharing the space in proportion to the preferences set. So if CP is given a 33% share of processing, CP will not download unless you have over 2GB available.

Another point is that sometimes the preferences get saved incorrectly if the leading zero is omitted. ie use 0.1 not .1

Or, if you use your number block, but have other then english conventions for point and comma, be caraful!
In Germany for example 1,000 is 1 and 1.000 is 1000, not so here. And the dividing sign on the number block of the keyboard is of course the ','. So if you're fast and do it without extra thinking (like I did once), the decimals are lost.
