I am presently running BOINC version 4.19. This is running on a Windows XP Pro machine.

The following application from Climate Predictions is running on:

hadsm3 4.04 -- 2wzj_000157436_3

It has crashed twice in the past three days. Each time I lost all of the accumulated info and it had to restart from the beginning.

There was a large error message displayed. I did a screen capture and uploaded the image to my site. The error message can be view here: .

Perhaps someone might know why this is happening.

Thanks!

This is the link: http://www.seibercom.us/media/BOINC.bmp

For some unknown reason, it was striped from my original posting.

The relevant information appears to be
>Fortran severe 38 error during write.

I might expect something like that if another application had a CP file open at the time. It didn't occur while a backup program was running or something like that did it?

Maybe other people will have some more ideas.

I also had several crashes since yesterday, but got no messages (it was running as a service, which might explain it).
The anti-virus was also scanning the disk at the same time, so it could be the same problem. Was an anti-virus scanning in your case?
