Hi there,
I have been working on a work package for 171 hours. It was 20000 timesteps in Phase 2.
After an upgrade of Direct X, and a restart, Climateprediction also suddenly restarts on phase 1, and when it before was 2.19 s/step, now it's 960 s/steps...

Can anyone explain why?
Because this really sucks...

Did you suspend and exit BOINC before restarting your system?

Are you running BOINC version 4.13?

BTW, I agree that it really sucks.

Do you have a backup of the BOINC folder that you can restore?

The long s/ts is prabably due to taking your current timestep and dividing by the total time so far. Presumably timesteps are still taking just over 2 seconds and not 960. I see your average is down to 750 so it looks like it.

I don'thave a backup, I just have the folder as it is now.. the data folder of climate prediction is on 221 mb, so I guess that there is still a lot of results in it...

Yes it really sucks. With a backup, you could probably have avoided most of the recrunching. You may want to consider keeping a backup copy of the folder so that if it happens again less work will be lost.
