Hello,

I\'ve created a team, but with a dummy name.
Then credits of my users were associated to this team.
After I\'ve created another team with correct name and everybody left old one to the new one.

There is no more users in the old team, but credits remain stuck to the old team, they did\'t switch to the new one.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for your help!

Not really.

The Idea with teams in BOINC is, that, as long as someone is member of a team, the credits, he receives are also given his team. If he leaves the team, team-credits stay with the team.

Supporting BOINC, because it is really a great concept !

Hi, Fabien Dravers! Just an idea: If there aren't too many people involved and if your old team got much more credit than your new one, could it be a possibility to go back to the old team and then just change the team names so that the old team gets the new name? As credit stays with the team, you would of course lose the credit of your new team, but you should get the credit of your old one back...

I did that over at the Seti Site Finla, somebody joined our Team that nobody wanted on it & I had to create a couple of different Teams and changed the Name of the Original Team to something else.

Once the person agreed to quit trying to be on the Team everybody went back to the original team & I changed the Team name back to the original name & all our credits were still there.

Of course we lost a few credits jumping around to the different teams I made...
