Could well be just an update problem on the web site. It didn't add trickles for more than 24 hours now.

If the server contacts the scheduler now and then (1-2 contacts / day), without you having done anything and the scheduler result is "succeeded" (message window), the trickles should count.

It has been the same a few days ago, no trickles counted for some time, but then they all came, the ones that have been missed showed up too even with the correct trickle time.

Just make sure that "disable BOINC network access" is not checked in the menu.

p.s.: not guaranteed of course, could be a 4.12/4.13 related problem too.

It's happening on 4.09, so it's certainly a server side problem. Nothing to worry about, I'm sure.

Also happening with 4.05. I've checked sched_request.xml and sched_reply.xml on my systems and the trickles are being acknowledged by the server but not being updated on my account page. Which is exactly the same symptoms as I had for the validator problems at the start of the week.

Interesting thing is that one of my models finished this morning. It's status information and completion date have been updated but it's final trickle and phase 3 &amp; completion graphs have yet to appear (<a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=142009">here</a>).

Sorry, I did something wrong there!

I've got the same problem, but when I tried an "update" the message is "project shut down for maintenance!

So we just wait . . . . .

The server IS down for maintainance at the moment.
We're trying to resolve a bug caused by the validator.

Hi :)
Is there any status page for the server(s)?

EDIT: For some reason the time stamp of the post differs by 30 mins or so to the real time - I just made a post but the page says it was half an hour ago

Oxford University Computing Centre has a time zone all of its own :))

There's been speculation on whether there is some medieval statute requiring this, or it is just a mark of distinction. We just have to get used to it.

sorted out the validator bug which has been causing mayhem,
preventing trickles and resulted in temporary server downtime this morning.
Yes we should probably have a web page for the status of the servers.
this has been included in the very long and growing TO DO.

Thank you for the info :)
It is not bad idea to have a page for the status of the servers, but, in fact, it is not a tragedy if there is not such page - CPDN is the most stable and well maintained project of all BOINC projects.
