Hi Diego,

CPDN checkpoints every 144 timesteps, so if you're closing BOINC before it's computed that much you're model will always start from the beginning.

My work unit was over 3% done, something like 16 hours of work and the percentage, not the time reset to zero when I exited BOINC. Displaying the graphics shows that thousands of Timestamps have been done. Is this a BOINC error, and any idea if it will pollute the results my computer returns?

I would not worry too much about the BOINC calculation of work done if the CPDN visualisation shows the correct information. BOINC does take time to recalculate these things when it restarts and perhaps something interfered with that process.

With a fast computer, the worksteps lost when shutting down don't represent many minutes work and so should not be very significant.
