I was just curious as to what is causing this, and if it is interfering with the actual results/science.

I now realize I cannot connect to the http://climateprediction.net URL, only to the direct oxford site. Is there anything currently wrong with the domain? And is there any alternate URL I can use to connect to server?

(Message 5149) Posted 8 Oct 2004 by old_user870 Post: I have a slow computer that i\'m running CPDN on, that when the project is running you cannot do much of anything else on the computer (even printing goes to a near stop). I am trying to set the preferences so that this computer is ID\'ed as Work, with related setting that stops processing when the comp is in use, but it keeps defaulting back to Home. Is this a known issue, or what can be done for this?

I don't know whats going on, but the credits have reappeared, albeit (for me at least) about 600-700 fewer than I had. I just did a reset to get version 4.03, yet nothing was deleted, and all 415 megabytes of data generated from the last running workunit (only 5 percent finished, so i wasn't worried about lost worktime) are still present on this machine. Will this garbage go away after a time, or should i manually kill it?
