another question: Ensure that the working dir of teh app is the main directory of CPDNSpy. It seems that there is a problem with the trayicon and the language.txt that can happen if the program isn't started from it's main directory!!!

Just had the same prob as you under Linux. You have to start CPDNSpy from it's mai ndirectory.. try that!

&gt; &gt; That version is good. Downlaod the new program 1.3.1. Perhaps it'll work
&gt; with
&gt; &gt; it.....
&gt;
&gt; The new version simply crashes my system. I get a faulting module error at
&gt; address 0x0002edb4.
&gt;
&gt; I'm just going to give up on it because Martin made CPview able to work
&gt; without the CPDN classic client installed, but thanks for your efforts! :-)
&gt;
&gt;
Very very strange.......

&gt; &gt; Hmm... which Java Version do you have???? You need an original Java JRE
&gt; or
&gt; &gt; JSDK. You can get it here: www.java.sun.com
&gt;
&gt; I have J2SE 1.4.1_02. It's fairly current, as the latest release is 1.4.2.
&gt; (not including beta v5.0)
&gt;
&gt; Is this version not adequate?
&gt;
&gt; Thanks!

So... some people asked me for some new features and here there are some of them:

<b>CPDNSpy 1.3.1</b>

Changes:
-some layout changes
-new benchmark. I'm now usign the same algothem like the boinc client.
-If you move the mouse over the tray icon you can see now the progress and the
s/Ts as hover display
-added creation time on user and team page
-added total active users, teams and computers
-you now only need to tell your boinc directory

The links are the same as version 1.3.0:
<b>IMPORTANT: Please uninstall the old evrsion before you install the new version!!!</b>

<a href="http://www.oliver-kliebisch.de/setup.exe">Windows Version</a>
<a href="http://www.oliver-kliebisch.de/CPDNSpy.rar">linux/Mac Version</a>

The translation are also the same. But currently there is no dutch translation.

52) Message boards : Number crunching : Climate Prediction & BOINC Cross project stats. (Message 900)
Posted 13 Aug 2004 by Admiral_Hawkes
Post:
&gt; &gt; &gt; The numbers from Climate Prediction are also included in the BOINC
&gt; Cross
&gt; &gt; &gt; project stats.
&gt; &gt;
&gt; &gt; You write:
&gt; &gt; I'm working on the BOINC overall team stats, and as there is no
&gt; cross-platform
&gt; &gt; identifier for teams, I have to use the team name to find teams across
&gt; &gt; projects. Two problems arise here: there may be no duplicate names in
&gt; one
&gt; &gt; project (or one of those teams will not be listed) and teams must have
&gt; the
&gt; &gt; exact same name across projects, otherwise they'll be listed as two
&gt; different
&gt; &gt; teams).
&gt; &gt;
&gt; &gt; The answer is that the team CPID is the CPID of the owner. If a team is
&gt; owned
&gt; &gt; by the same person in all projects it is the same team. (at least that
&gt; was the
&gt; &gt; idea)
&gt; &gt; Finding out who is the owner is a problem that is going to be solved
&gt; within
&gt; &gt; not so long.
&gt; &gt;
&gt;
&gt; There should be a cpid for teams. And the owner of the team is indeed the key
&gt; to this. At the moment, there is no reference in the team-XML file to the
&gt; owner of the team. (But re-reading your post makes me think you know this)
