Little work, yet the most "important" thing in the world?

Posted 12 Apr 2021 by [SG]Felix Post: It took me about 45 minutes to set up a VM with 64bit Ubuntu Mate 20.04 LTS, installing Boinc, installing the needed libraries with sudo apt install lib32ncurses6 lib32z1 lib32stdc++-7-dev and add CPDN to my Boinc Manager. To be fair, i have installed Linux with a GUI, because i cannot work just with a console. But when you install Linux with an GUI, the navigation is nearly the same as in Windows. Yes, it depends on which Linux distribution you use, thats why i mentioned, that I use Ubuntu Mate. Greets from Germany Felix |

Right now i am running 3 N216 hadam4h wus in a vm, and they need together with the os 4,9-5gb of ram. all three together! By looking per task, the need around 1,3-1,4gb/task. Posted 14 Jan 2019 by [SG]Felix Post: i just uploaded my first zip file, server seems to be back online, upload finished succesfully Edit: after ten minutes of uploading files, the connection to the server slows down realy fast. i think other users start to upload their zips too. hopefully the server won't crash |
