BoincStats showing a negative 50K credit today -

This has happened before as Milo says, but does eventually get resolved !

Well done to everyone at CPDN for getting back on track!
I've just checked the two models currently running on my PCs -
the trickles are now up-to-date.

Team England has decided to take part in one of the regular competitions at WCG –
Christmas Race 2008

A list of the ‘runners’ can be found here –
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/challenge/viewTeamChallenge.do?challengeId=1721

The race runs from 1st December through to midnight on the 24th December.
All team members are invited to take part – the more the merrier!
The team has the opportunity to improve both UK and World rankings on this worthwhile project. All it needs is a small contribution from everyone in the team – perhaps one or two WCG WUs each day while continuing to crunch your own projects. There is a thread in the Team Forum where you can follow progress or find out how to ‘tweak’ your project settings.
The WUs can take up to 8 hrs and the time for validation, strangely enough, is quicker than SETI even though WCG WUs ask for a quorum of 10 or more!

Another milestone for Team England (Boinc) -
40 Million Credits!

The team has a presence in 56 Boinc projects.
As this milestone is passed on 11th June 2008 -
In 50 of the projects, the team is in the Top 10 UK ranking.
In 16 of the projects, the team is in the Top 50 World ranking.

Overall, the team is No. 7 in the UK and No. 105 in the World.
Not long to go until we reach the Top 100........

Be there with us when we reach the Top 100!

Calling all Team England (Boinc) members!

The team forum is back online after a lengthy absence due to technical problems.
The whole board has had a bit of a \'spring-clean\' and there is a new \'Members Only\' section where team members can really get to grips with BOINCing in general and the Projects in particular!
The Castle Cafe is open for business with the usual forum games to help you unwind.

And of course - we always welcome new members........

I won\'t quote mo.v\'s post again, but it is clear that Tolu has a lot on his plate at the moment with Milo being away!
This delay in credits granting has happened before but it always works out eventually - all that happens is you get a large award of credits on one day.

I\'ve been eagerly awaiting a milestone on CPDN - 100k credits - for the last couple of days now....
(it is reported here, but not on the stats sites yet!)

I\'m still hanging in there with this one!

6 days from previous trickle to the one today - just one more trickle to go. (phew!)

WU finished and returned at lunchtime UTC today 19/02/2008.
Hope the results are useful to the scientists!

Thanks, John. If your model does make it to completion I\'ll be interested to see its graphs.

Almost 24 hours on from first post yesterday and it\'s now 97.22% complete.
At this rate, it\'ll be 10 days + to completion.
I\'ll see this one through!

Sorry for delay in reply -

R for rainfall gives a static pastel green globe.
P for pressure gives a static black globe.
Both have white outlines for land.

As I said to Les earlier, I don\'t normally watch the graphics.....

[EDIT]
Computer 827039 may have hit the same problem as myself - no trickle since early hours of this morning....

Thanks Les!
Apart from myself, there\'s two duo cores and a quad core (and a Celeron!) also crunching this WU.
I\'ll give it a few more days, see what happens. If and when the other quad/duo results come in, I\'ll abort.

Another slow iceworld.

http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=7209853

Timestep 241564 of 259248 - 97.73% complete. ( 0.255% more than 24 hours ago)

CPU time = 296:31 hrs, 6:53 to completion.

1.40 sec/TS.

Globe is blue.

Intel Q6600 Quad, never overclocked.

Should I keep going?

Model date is 23/11/2064 so it looks as if I\'m going to have a verrrry chilly 109th birthday on the 24th!

Just had a look at the front page. Yes, it is definitely a lot \'cleaner\' and less confusing than the one I remember.

Les - you are a star!
I don\'t usually run the graphics (waste of cycles!) but you are correct; I do have an \'ice-world\'.
This is the first time I\'ve had one of these, probably not the last.

Many thanks from an honorary Aussie born and bred in the UK....

This is happening to me too.

Also -
I have a WU on my quad which is showing some strange (?) behaviour -
CPU time is 270 hrs and rising, time to completion is 7 hrs and static. The % complete is very slowly rising, about .01% per hour, currently at 97.5%.

Any ideas, anyone or am I worrying un-necessarily?

Thank you Zelvuska and the Czech National Team for the Czech translation.
(Zelvuska had previously said he may be able to help - that was over a week ago)
Great work and well worth the wait!
