1) Message boards : climateprediction.net Science : resource share? (Message 29973)

ok (Ill assume nothings wrong concerning the percentage of processing time being allotted)...It had been a little while since I had checked the results for CPDN (or any other program through boinc as well). I see that all other programs through boinc (gridrepublic) seem to have the result of \"success\", CPDN is getting the result of \"Client Error\". I believe that I finished the computations for this model, sent it, and when it was recieved it contaiend an error. Am I understanding the error (client error) correctly?? How should I go about determoning precicely what is going wrong with the CPDN modells and my machine (aka overtemp)??

I have a number of projects through gridrepublic. Ive given each different weights for their resourse share. CPDN has the most weight (500%), and a few of the others (like rosetta) are at 50%...however, every time I look, lately, CPDN is only \"waiting to run\" and not \"ready to start\" or \"running\", where-as the other projects (with very low percentages of resource time) are consitently \"running\"...also there always seems to be 2 projects \"running\". I would have expected only one to be running at any given time. Is there any way to regulate this as well?
3) Message boards : climateprediction.net Science : BOINC Statistics Graph?? (Message 29794)

I have been looking for information (without much luck) on the meaning of the graphs under the Statistics tab in Boinc...More specifically, I am trying to understand what the numbers on the y-axis account for (what are the units?)...Do the graphs (there\'s one for each project) simpily show the amount of work done per day??...

I have tried (without much luck) to find an aritcle on the causes and possible solutios for the
\"Client Error\" notification under the completion statistics...
5) Message boards : climateprediction.net Science : LARGE project?? (Message 29199)

Thank you all,
I see Im doing \"The Big Daddy\" project here...
I also read the info about backing up the project in case of a crash. In this instance, Im assuming that the \"crash\" refered to is a system crash (a crash on my end rather than a crash on the cpdn server)?? If this is the case I feel relatively secure that my computer wont crash and that its quite stable (given the steps required for a backup - In my opinion it would be nice if coding for a BACKUP procedure or button were incorporated into the BOINC program)...
I also followed the link - and checked out the \"seasonal climate model project\". I read there that it is recomended to \"wait to complete other cpdn projects before starting the seasonal weather mapping project\". I just wanted to make sure this was really necessary??

Since I am a bit of a newcommer to the cpdn program, I just wanted to verify whether or not it was normal to be assigned a relatively HUGE project(in comparison the the other project areas like seti)...I have about 2767 Hr. left...???

Thanks Mike...I just checked again and all seems to be fine...Must have been maintinance on the server or somthing...
I started with only one project, but now Ive picked up a few more...Do you have any preference on which \"project manager\" software program I should use??

Im unable to show graphics for climatepredictions in BOINC. . .whats the possible reason behind that?
