Post:
I'm running BOINC Manager Version 7.0.65 on a MacPro running OS X Version 10.7.5

I'm trying to add the ClimatePrediction project by:

1. Tools > Add Project
2. Choose a project > chose Cimateprediction.net
3. Identify your account > Yes, existing user
4. entered valid email address and password.
5. Failed to add project. An error has occurred; check the Event Log for details...

6. Event log:
Tue 18 Jun 19:29:35 2013 | | Fetching configuration file from http://climateprediction.net/get_project_config.php

I already have ClimatePrediction running successfully on my Macbook Pro, so I know the account works.

Any ideas, or should I just offer my cycles to another project?

Thanks Astro.

I may try re-installing on C:, but I don't like running anything on that partition other than Windoze if at all possible. It would help if errors were a little more prominently displayed somewhere. Oh, like maybe in the messages window?? I only discovered the errors when looking through my work units.

I'm sure an answer is at hand. These developers don't appear to be slouches when it comes to software development.

Thanks for the help

3) Questions and Answers : Windows : System cannot find the path specified error (Message 9362)

My work units tend to get about 80% of the way through and then download a new one and start over. After routing through the results page I found this error message (the HTML tag were part of the message, I did not add them):

4.19
The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3) - exit code 3 (0x3)

0

Is there any way I can find out what path it is looking for? The only thing I can think of could be that I have BOINC installed on my E: drive, and it may be defaulting to C: for some path.

I have searched my entire registry and any paths referenced by BOINC entries already exist. Any ideas?
