The interesting thing is the the system shows two sets of totals on the server, one the 143K number the the other the 136K number. So someone has made a change somewhere on the server ... Please explain and correct the problem with the correct numbers. Thanks

However, the computations took away from the primary use of the system (my work), caused unusual blue screen failures, corrupted the hard drive (last time it took two hours to recover so I could reboot). At boot up, it took upwards of 10 minutes to get to the desktop. I am running win2k pro, with 1 gig of ram, on a 1.6 cpu. When I did shut down (this is my traveling laptop and only workstation), fiels would not close properly and it would take 10 to 15 minutes for the laptop to shut down. I tried to defrag (with all processes stopped) to see if that would resolve the problem. No change. When I removed climate prediction - cycle 4.19, after I got the system stable again, all things are fine. Hence, my finger pointing at 4.19......

After some rersearch I found that cycle 4.19 was consuming all resources on my computer contrary to instructions and speicified conditions. I found that I had to abort the cycle, and suspend Climate Prediction. I generally leave the unit running to provide the most computing cycles that I can for all to use. Please check this out, and I will attempt to process your tasks as soon as you confirm that you have resolved the problem, or have at least determined a fix. Thanks......
