I actually do run BOINC v4.09 and currently, I'm crunching data for BOINC versions of SETI and LHC - both without problems. This has been happening for a few days, since I registered - it's not "new" it's "always like this !" My initial assumption was that the reason for this was that climate prediction didn't work on Win 98SE (as per the FAQ). So, can you (or someone) advise where the problem is - why do the CP WU's fail? BTW: All 3 of the different projects WU's are kept in memory, as per climate predictions suggestion, thus: "<i>If you are time slicing make sure you've set your preferences to have Leave applications in memory while preempted? set to yes (the BOINC default is no). CPDN checkpoints every 144 timesteps, and if you don't leave it in memory any calculations you've done since the previous checkpoint will have to be redone when CPDN starts up again.
