(Message 29127) Posted 3 Jun 2007 by old_user180036 Post: This morning (June 2nd) my model completed with 100%, although it keeps on saying \'Ready to Report\' and not doing anything about reporting. My question is: Now what do I do? or does BOINC automatically download something new? or do I go and look for something else BOINC-like to do? or do I just say \"well, it\'s been fun\" and say goodbye to BOINC forever more?

(Message 24312) Posted 16 Sep 2006 by old_user180036 Post: It has been suggested to me that trying to run CPDN at the same time as using Skype causes CPU conflicts, and thus my callers hear screeching noises from time to time. Has anybody else experienced this?

Now I have left that real-life club and joined another. I would like to join the new club\'s BOINC Team. How do I do this? Do I \'unjoin\' from the old one THEN join the new one? or join the new one and THEN unjoin from the old one? And what happens to my 29%? does it disappear into the ether or join itself to the new team?

I finally connected to localhost (after several attempts and two password changes). No model was received. I tried rebooting, and got the message \'01/04/2006 14:53:57\|\|Remote control not allowed; using loopback address\'. So now I\'m just sitting here. My computer is less than 2 weeks old, a Dell. I am running XP Pro, have nearly 70Gb free disc space, 1024 Mb memory. I am not involved in any other BOINC projects. I only downloaded the software today (Saturday 1st). What do I do now?

You will be able to change it to something you remember. I have changed my password twice in 24 hours. The darn thing STILL won\'t connect and let me start number crunching...
6) Questions and Answers : Windows : BOINC: Account not found (Message 21772) Posted 1 Apr 2006 by old_user180036 Post: Yeap, the account key is not the password (it\'s suppose to work when you enter you ID key, but sometimes the key is rejected) On the web site, log in your account with the account key, and select the link \"change password\": you choose a password. Then enter the same password in the Boinc Wizard. HTH STILL nothing happens. Logged into my account, changed the password, used the new password in the wizard, still won\'t/can\'t connect. And now...?
