I just tried to update my signature but got error message.

Forum preferences update
Couldn\'t update forum preferences.
Unknown column \'avatar_type\' in \'field list\'

I get the same error message just clicking update on current settings.

There are only few problems with Win98/Boinc.
1. You have to exit Boinc before closing down Windows. A work around to make Boinc shut down gracefully is found at
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,8527446~reverse=0;days=30;root=seti;mode=full
that fixed my machine. Unzip the Defaul.zip file to the Windows Folder and it make it work right.

2. Do not use the option 'leave in memory' if you are attached to other projects. This will cause Boinc to try and crunch more than one WU at the same time. (This also means that you may have to increase the switching time between projects if the save points are to far apart. But I haven't had this problem for some time now.)

3. Depending on your system, some of the Screen Savers don't work. I've given up on mine.
