I is a well known fact that this project uses it's own credit system, and that the credit scripts run once per week, starting early Saturday, UK time, and extending well into Sunday.

You appear to have got credit on both of these. The statistics on BOINC manager look as if they have been updated today (23:40BST)

Ah yes I see, credit has been granted.

I did not realize that the credit was only updated on a weekly basis. Thank you for the heads up. It was not a well known fact to me a returning "newcomer". But now I know, so thank you.

Does it mean that valid and completed task is given zero credit initially and correct credit is granted later?

If a task has sent all its trickle up messages. (normally created at the same time as the monthly zip files) It will get all its credit even if as has happened on some tasks recently they fail right at the end. The information for the granting of credit is there as soon as the trickle up messages have been received by the project. However the credit doesn't appear until the credit script which assimilates them is run. (It was reduced to weekly because of the load it put on the system.)

An alternative script was under development but I am not sure if it didn't work or if other work has meant it is forgotten. If the trickle up message is just before the script runs, the credit appears pretty quickly If just after you have to wait a week.

It was happening at weekends when presumably the load is lighter on the servers but for some time now the credit updates seem to have been appearing on Thursdays.

And when the credit script runs, it wipes the current values, and starts all over again.

Every trickle_up file will be examined for the model type, and a lookup table read to find the amount of credit that type gets.
Totals are made for task, computer, person, and team.
And eventually all of this will be put into files for the external stats sites to collect later.

Some external sites refer to this reasonably promptly.

But this site:

https://boinc.netsoft-online.com/e107_plugins/boinc/get_user.php?cpid=549ef8ba1b5181207e1ad3a2ba626d83&html=1

does not do it hardly ever anymore. It thinks I have 3,075,732 credits while your site says I have 3,239,868; they are about 164,000 credits behind.

Trickles were uploaded and credit was granted, like you said, today.

I am having the same problem with the Netsoft Online site not updating my CPDN stats but BOINC Stats is updating. But for me it is now around 1,000,000 credits behind. All of the other projects update normally on Netsoft and CPDN used to update regularly but it seems not anymore.

As detailed in many threads, CPDN now updates credits on a weekly basis, except when something stops the credit script from running. Often when re-started the day the script runs changes. Due to running mostly stuff on the testing part of CPDN site recently, I have lost track of what day of the week it happens now.

I see what you are saying. You have a high RAC here, but a constant number of credits for a long time at that netsoft-online site. I'm assuming you have the "Export to stats site" checked on your cpdn preferences page since the other sites are picking your recent credits up. The problematic stats site must not be picking up the updated credits that cpdn produces weekly (on Thursday now I guess). Whatever script they use to pick up the credits must be looking at the wrong place. Should be https://www.cpdn.org/stats/ I believe.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes my Netsoft stats have been "flat-lined" for over 100 days even though I see the credits going up in BOINC Stats and here on the CPDN site so it is not from waiting a week. Guess I will have to message Netsoft and ask them to look into it.

That would be great. I tried to create an account on the site so I could post on the forums, but it really didn't give me an option that I could see to do so.

Well I had not tried until now but same problem. Did dig up they have the classic webmaster email address though so guess I will have to just email that and hope it is a monitored mailbox.
