From previous answers on this topic, they will have to wait till the server times them out due to lack of contact at which point they will be re-issued. At least there is a supply of work at the moment even if sometimes sporadic.

I was literally cursing my laptop hard drive for dying on me. They were at 60% complete but I had turned off network communications.
