Hi folks -- does anyone know if it's possible to turn off the sound that occurs while bionc is running? None of my other programs create that much sound and it's annoying if it turns on while I'm working next to the computer? I'm trying to let it run as much as possible.

BOINC doesn't do much, it's just an "organiser".
It's the climate program that does the work. And this is the first time that I've heard about any sounds while it's running. Other than the fan(s), of course.
So, probably something particular to your computer.

Perhaps you could get your computer to play Simon and Garfukel's The Sounds of Silence when it's crunching. :)
