Notice that uploader.oerc has been down for a while. Is this a problem?

It may be a symptom of the uploader being hit hard by the MOSES models, which have very large Zip files. However, I haven't yet got any MOSES models to check where the files actually go, so my comment may be off the mark.

The server status indications are apparently just a ping test, so they can give false negatives (i.e. the server is functioning though shown as off-line). There can also be upload problems when the server is happily responding to pings and showing green. However, if the server is completely wrecked then it will both show as off-line and there will be upload problems, in which case messages start to get posted ...
