I see you've moved servers but noticed that many pages don't direct properly (one example would be from BOINC to the CPDN News page - Oops page not found) and other pages give variable script errors at the top but do work.
For instance I was altering my CPDN resource share settings and at the top was all this garbage but the page worked:

The error messages have now gone, though the worst-offending page (for me) was the task page which is still not showing any trickles. Some catching up to do server-side, no doubt.

I'm still seeing the same errors here, well at least on my Computer Preferences and CPDN, net Preferences pages. Maybe it's Firefox?

Have you cleared the cache?

I'll try that later. I was reluctant to do that and in any case it really isn't a problem, only a minor irritant.

Not on my Firefox, either (latest version, 22.0).

(I'm reluctant to try in Windows Explorer...)

Now it's OK, my PC must have needed a reboot.

My task page does not show any trickles either, although in Event Log I have seen "sending Trickle message" a few times. Just like to be sure I am not running all 3 tasks for nothing...

It is probably OK. From what I can see the trickle job has not run since the downtime, once it does (probably tonight) then you should suddenly see them all.

I haven't run CPDN for awhile, so I'm not sure what to expect these days with regard to trickle-ups, when they show up in the results database, and when credit gets granted.

At the moment, I have several tasks in progress across 5 different hosts. They have all sent trickle-ups according to the BOINC manager message log, but most of them show none recorded nor credit granted, even though it's been as long 5 hours since since the message.

Is this typical or a result of the recent outage? Some other cause?

Cheers,

MarkR

The credits script is run once per day.
Because of the outage, and the heavy load on the server, it'll probably be a while before the server gets around to displaying data that's been returned since the restart.
In the meantime, lots of things are Pen Ding.

Climate is the slow changing of the weather over large periods of time.
Climate models are large and also take a large period of time to run.
After an outage such as the recent one, things take a long period of time to settle down and get back to normal. Whatever that is. :)

While waiting, all one can do is adopt a comfortable contemplation pose, and go Mooooo.

I take it that there's no moos - sorry, news - about credit updates. It's just that my neighbour was here earlier, wondering if I could spare some milk...

Good news, thanks. I hadn't checked in awhile and was girding myself for another long outage! :D
