A 'computation error' notification appeared shortly after the previous task hit the 26% completion.
Running hadam3p_pnw now the notification indicates the same 'computation error'. A server message reads as follows

03/04/2012 16:54:53 | climateprediction.net | Message from server: UK Met Office HADAM3P European Region needs 122.52MB more disk space. You currently have 1784.83 MB available and it needs 1907.35 MB.

My computing preferences here define 3.5G space for BOINC leaving atleast 10GB free. With around 18GB on disk I figure it shouldn't be a problem.

What should I do to get the task running again?

Your task list shows 3 failed models. These would have left some files, taking up a "small" amount of disk space. Look under: BOINC\projects\climateprediction.net for folders with the names of the failed models, and delete them.
These models can take a bit over 1 Gig of disk space by the time they're getting close to completing, so, with only 3.5 Gigs, you're close to using it all for a working model plus programs.

These climate models will be a challenge for your current PC and Boinc/CPDN setup.

Your computer setup shows as an Intel P4 1.7GHz CPU with 2GB RAM. A crashed model can leave 1.5GB to 4.5GB of data (per model) in the task directory of your hard drive.

For model-processing efficiency a P4 1.7GHz will be running at around 5% to 7.5% of a more recent quad CPU PC, and take 3.5X to 5X the time. The shorter hadam3p models could take around one month 24x7, longer hadcm3 models would be over three months.

If you want to persevere with these climate models on your P4 you should configure your CPDN account to select only the shorter hadam3p models and increase the amount of disc allocated to Boinc to around 10GB.
