Have just created an account, and tried to copy and paste the URL and ID into Boinc, but it comes back with an error message;
BOINC failed to log in to http://climateprediction.net/.
Please check your account ID and try again.

any ideas??

is it possible other chars or "whitespace" are getting added into the id field? I suppose if you don't mind a bit of typing you could try typing it in!

Hi Carl,

Just re-installed Boinc which has also cured my problem with the Seti@home project, so both are now running,

Thanks,
Stuart

I expanded the Message box in the Messages tab. CP requires BOINC major release #4. When SETI@Home went to BOINC, they were apparently installing major release 3. Might be worth checking.
