Hi @All, mybe some one can tell me why I do not get any new tasks at the moment? Since the "Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean v6.07" only gives an "error while computing" I excluded them in my settings and since then I get no more work-units. Anyway I'm getting quit a lot "computing errors" for CP (machine is not overclocked!!). All others (seti & milkyway) are running smooth without errors. My User-ID is: 576443 Im using Win 7 x64 with BOINC-Manager 6.12.26(x64). |

The reason that you are not getting any new work is that the project does not have any work available at this time. The last two batches of CM3n models were defective so that explains why they errored out within hours or minutes of starting. The CO2 forcing seems to have been set to high resulting in a run-away greenhouse effect like on the planet Venus. Hopefully the programmer will works the bugs out in a few days and we can get back crunching climate models. In the meantime if you have no work you might like to try rosette@home or Malaria Control. These project do important work and can be finished quickly when ClimatePrediction has new work. |
