I am running BOINC manager 6.10.18 under Windows 7 64-bit connected to climateprediction.net and SETI@home. The former has two tasks in the Computation Error state and the latter three task Ready to report. Neither seem to want to communicate with their sites - communication gets deferred repeatedly. Hence my work on BOINC related projects has ceased as the computer seems unable to report completed projects and get new work. Any suggestions?

I assume you are the same Stephen P who posted your startup messages on the BOINC message boards (if not, you have an identical twin with the same problem!)

That\'s helpful, as it would otherwise probably be the first question you would be asked here, too, and it gives us a host 991553 ID to work with. The next question will probably be to ask you to actually re-try the communication which failed (Advanced view, Advanced menu: \'Retry communications\'), and post the messages that get added to the log in response.
