Greetings from coastal Washington state, the scenic US Pacific Northwest.

I\'ve just had several occurrences of \'project unavailable\' type messages, and finally \'Download failed\'.
It\'s possible that the server is getting hammered by lots of computers, so I\'ll leave it for 6-8 hours and try again then.

\"Giving up on download of ... ...: file not found\" doesn\'t sound like an overload problem, more like a storage subsystem/location problem.

Can you dig the download URLs out of client_state, and try them manually?

The failed download \"Reported\" shortly afterwards, and is gone.

What do you mean by “painfully slow.” The Hadam3p’s always take significantly longer to download than the Hadsm’s. I have had them 40 minutes. Twenty minutes is more common.

Fails with a 404 error for me, too. But trying the same technique with a \'6.06\' in the filename (for the older version) offers a file to download.

I think the new application files must have failed to migrate to (at least one) download mirror. I\'ll try to alert the staff.

1 and 2 seem to be working now (Milo\'s been kicking the appropriate boxes) - 3 seems very slow, but no actual error.

Worth another try when quota permits.

I think I may have received a couple of phantom work units. Early this morning I changed my preferences to select the AM3Ps and reenabled new work. The download hung up and then failed. Two WU’s appeared in the “transfer” tab, but, never appeared in the “tasks” tab. Now messages is saying I have had my quota of 2 WU’s for today. It is also saying that it has no work for HADAM3P. I see others are having similar problems/

My apologies for the above posting questioning your observation that the downloads are unusually slow. After a failed attempt yesterday to download the newly available AM3Ps I finally was able to download 2 WU’s. THE DOWNLOAD TOOK NEARLY 2 HOURS. The major culprits were 2 hadam3p_data_6.06_windows_intelx86.zip files at 79 MB each that downloaded at 14 kbs. That’s right, kilobytes per second. I haven’t seen a download go that slowly since I got rid of up dial connections.
