Was going great for almost 3 years. But for weeks
now I get no downloads on either of my two Pentium PC\'s.
I\'m running Windows 7 on each and the latest BOINC.
The message is simply that there is no work available for the applications I have selected.
My account says that I have been contributing to HADSM3.

Still doing fine with a number of other BOINC-based applications, so I doubt it\'s a BOINC problem.

Pleasse advise.

There are only 2 types of models available at present, and it\'s possible that you don\'t have one of these selected in your climateprediction.net preferences in your project account.

There are regular posts about this and other matters in the News and Announcements near the top of the Number crunching section of this forum, and the same at the top of our alternate forum here.
Both of these can be \'subscribed\' to, resulting in you getting an email notification each time a new post is made. But you do need to have \"email notification\" active for each of these.

If this doesn\'t solve your problem, please post again.

Maybe I\'m not techmical enough. I tried Detaching from the projct, the re-attaching but nothing changed. I still get no downloads.

I also can\'t see where I can choose a model. When I re-attach there is no selction process.

thanks.

Hi, Ian

To find the page that allows you to select the models, first click the “Your Account” tab on the manager page. Then in the blue menu on the left side click “Your Account” again. This should bring up the right account page. You may have to sign in. Scroll down to “climateprediction.net preferences’ and click that. Scroll down and you should see the models.

Only the Hadsm3 and Hadsm3mh models are presently available.
Hope this helps.

... I tried Detaching from the projct ...

Wrong idea.

1) Click on Your account in the blue menu to the left of here.
2) Scroll down the page a bit until you come to the Preferences section
3) Click on climateprediction.net preferences

And there they are. :)

If you need to find out which models are available from time-to-time, use the blue menu on the left again.
This time, click on Server Status.
