I am getting the following repeated message (below). It comes every minute. I tried resetting the project and got another error: [error] Couldn\'t delete file projects/climateprediction.net/hadsm3_6.07_windows_intelx86.exe. This had also occurred with the malariacontrol project, but I was able to reset it and resume operation. I was told that this may be a BOINC throttle issue, so I set Boinc to 100%. That did not help climateprediction. HELP!

I\'m sorry you\'ve had to wait so long for a response.

There\'s a post by Les Bayliss about this zero status message in the CPDN README collection here.

I\'ve very occasionally seen this message myself. I got a fright but did nothing and it stopped. The model completed successfully. But I didn\'t see the message repeatedly, only once at a time.

The similarity in the number of minutes past the hour in each series of messages that you\'ve posted suggests to me that the problem could be Les\'s #1 cause: Window\'s synchronisation of the computer\'s internal clock with an external clock. But the interval between your two series (17 hours) seems rather strange. 17\'s a prime number, not a multiple of for example 3 or 4-hour synchronisation time intervals.

Does anyone know whether clock synchronisation would cause the zero status message to appear just once or repeatedly?

Did the zero status message appear in blocks at intervals and stop appearing in between, or did it appear all day thousands of times?

Did your models continue to advance in spite of the messages?
