I noticed that whenever the online preferences for the screensaver are setup to do clouds the unit does the Vortices one instead. There is no option for Vortices to select either. Since the clouds setting does Vortices by mistake, how do I actually get the preferences set to do clouds?

By the way I can get the clouds display on the show graphics screen by using the CTRL+C but that isn\'t going to work in the screen saver. Just the screen saver which gets it\'s settings from the preferences menus has this issue.

I\'ve reported this to the developers. There\'s an incompatibility in the way the \"Scene\" graphics preference is handled by the different model types.

The \"Clouds\" option sets <scene>6</scene> in the scheduler reply. This displays clouds correctly on HadSM3 and HadSM3MH tasks but displays vorticity on HadCM3.

The \"Wireframe\" option sets <scene>8</scene> in the scheduler reply. This displays wireframe correctly on HadSM3 and HadSM3MH tasks but gives a blank area on HadCM3.

I\'m not sure how it affects HADAM3 or HADAM3P as I don\'t have any of them running at the moment.

I\'m actually doing the HADAM3 and HADAM3P and that\'s where I noticed it. I originally was running some of the longer projects and recently decided to switch to the shorter duration ones. I never saw it till then, so your explanation makes sense. I wasn\'t sure if this was an error in the paticular modules downloaded or whether related to the Visual Fortran error boxes I get occassionally since switching to the shorter projects.

I know these errors were talked about on the forums. They only happen once in a blue moon when the screen saver is running. And like many others who have this problem, I too have an HP/ASUS motherboard. So good to know it\'s not tied to the Fortran error.

I have just switched to temperature for now and will occassionally try the new program versions on clouds to see if they\'ve come up with a fix.

Thanks for the help......
