Everything with Boinc seems to work fine. My computer has three different profiles for the three people that use it. After not doing anything for a while BOINC will switch to screensaver view. If I\'m logged on to my profile and don\'t do anything, after a while it will switch from the desktop to the profile selection screen so that anyone can pick their profile and log in.

The problem is that when the BOINC screensaver is active and this happens the screensaver image stays displayed on my monitor. In the background the computer is running fine but I cannot see anything other than the screensaver. Ultimately the only thing I can do is hit the power button on my computer to turn it off and then turn it back on. I want to disable the screensaver mode on BOINC.

BOINC just adds it\'s screensaver to the those already in the Windows list. From then on, you can use it or ignore it, via the usual methods used for Windows screensavers.

e.g.
Right click on the desktop
Click Properties
Click Screen Saver tab at the top
Click Screen saver drop down list
Click on your choice

I thought maybe it was it\'s own program. Thank you very much that should solve my problem! :)

I have an identical problem - screen saver freezes and have to reboot - which has only become apparent after updating to Manager 6.2.19. Unlike Dustin I would still like run the screen saver. Any ideas how this can be achieved? Thank you.

I also have the identical problem to John B.--the screen saver is freezing and I want to run it. I did not have this problem before I upgraded to 6.2.19, and would downgrade (backgrade? retrograde? <g>) to the earlier version except *of course* this happened to be the one time that I trashed an earlier version of software before making sure there were no problems with a newer version. I think I was running 6.2.15, but I\'m not sure now.

Problem solved by updating drivers for my ATI All in Wonder 9800 graphics card.

Thanks for posting that, John. Good to know.
