BOINC is reporting that my model is 233 days overdue. It has a completion date of 11/02/2008. I\'m using DD/MM/YYYY as my date format (I\'m Canadian, eh :) ). Perhaps the model should query the computers default date format before making the calculation and issuing the warning message?

The warning message comes from BOINC, not CPDN. The servers of other BOINC projects apply the task deadline, but the CPDN servers ignore it and accept trickles and file uploads even if they\'re overdue. You should also ignore the deadline and your results will be gratefully received.

If you look at the workunit your model belongs to you\'ll see that the 11 Feb 2008 deadline was set by the server for all those models. That seems to have been the deadline set for all the 80-year HADCM workunits created on that date last September. So it has nothing to do with your date format. (I also prefer days/months/years ie the units displayed in ascending or descending order and not mixed up.)

I think it was shortly after you started that model that Tolu, one of CPDN\'s programmers, lengthened the deadlines for all CPDN models. So not many members will be seeing this nuisance warning now.

I see you\'re now close to the end of this model so thank you for all the work! By the way, if you\'re running the CPDN screensaver you\'ll find that turning it off will speed up the processing of the model.
