Why my Model date keeps on going back to 25/08/1812 00:30 when ever it reach 10:00????

Chances are that your General Preferences are not set to:
Do work while computer is in use? yes
...
Leave applications in memory while suspended?
(suspended applications will consume swap space if \'yes\') yes

Could be that the runs never reach a checkpoint.

If both of those preferences already said Yes, your slab HADSM model could be looping - constantly going back to the last 3-day checkpoint. Your model hasn\'t sent a new trickle to the server for 2 weeks. So either it\'s what Astro says - the model isn\'t processing for long enough to reach the next checkpoint, or it\'s looping.

There\'s an explanation of looping models in item #4 here

http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=5896

If the 2 preferences say Yes and you see the model revert to 25/08/1812 00:30 while the computer is turned on it will be looping. Looping models should abort themselves after a number of loops if they can\'t advance, but this doesn\'t always happen. If it\'s looping constantly, abort it and get a new model.

Click on the link down the left hand side of this page that says \'your account\', then where it says

Preferences
General preferences - specify when and how BOINC uses your computer, click on the \'view or edit\' link

In the top section make sure it says
Do work while computer is in use? yes
and ...
Leave applications in memory while suspended?
(suspended applications will consume swap space if \'yes\') yes

If either of those says \'no\' then go down that page and click on \'edit preferences\'
Once in there, change them to say \'yes\', then scroll down the page and click on update preferences. Then go into your boinc manager. Go to the projects tab, highlight climate prediction and click on update on the left habd side and that should then reset your preferences to \'yes\'

For the two preferences we\'re talking about you only have a choice of yes or no, so choose yes for both of them. Leave all the others alone for now - you shouldn\'t need to change them hopefully.

If they were set to \'no\' and you change them to \'yes\', it will stop the model starting again from the beginning every time you shut down your computer or do some other work on it
