G\'Day Crunchers Everywhere!

Aussie Assault Number 9 is on the starting blocks and this time the target is QMC@Home.
The team will be concentrating a significant portion of their processing power on that project from October 1st for the following two weeks.

Aussies anywhere in the world - if you are teamless, come and join us! We have a great team website where you can get all the support (both moral and technical!) that you need. Just click on the team logo in my sig and
follow the links to the forum.

And of course, the invite is open to non-Aussies too!

The starting gun goes off at Midnight Sunday local time for all the team.

Aussie Assault 8 was hard work because SETI had problems but QMC has a good track record for reliability. Let\'s hope we have a good Assault this time!

Anyone reading this is more than welcome to
park his/her BBC credits with team Scotland
and/or join team Scotland in CPDN, or indeed in any other BOINC project.

By any measure Aussie Assault 9 (AA9) on QMC has been a fantastic success!!

Even though AA9 is officially over, the team has just passed 10 million credits in QMC, the last 5 million all in the last 18 days. That is an enormous amount of science crunched.

The team\'s daily output should have started winding down to about double its pre-AA levels, about 50,000 a day, but we are still seeing around 250,000 a day. Not to bad for QMC.

It should start to drop in the next week or so but the project has caught the interest of many BOINC@AUSTRALIA members. That\'s another great side affect of the AA\'s.

The next event starts on 10 December 2007.

Members of Team BOINCSynergy - the voting for the December \'project of the month\' is now underway.

This is the first month that CPDN has been a part of vote, so please show your support :-)

(People of teams other than BOINCSynergy - your participation on the forums is very welcome, but note that the voting is for Synergy team members only).
I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.

I know that it might not help me recruit new members to our little team if I tell you that it\'s not important which team you join, but that\'s exactly what I\'m telling you. The contributions to science made by distributed computing far outweighs my recruiting efforts. So get involved. We\'ll be glad to have you on our team if you think you\'ll like it here. You\'re welcome to stop by and chat on our forums no matter what team you join, or even if you don\'t join any team (it\'s not a requirement), but this is something you can do that makes a difference. Maybe the news media will never take note of your contribution to the sciences... but we will!

Visit us at Guru Mountain DC Team

We\'re a very small team of dedicated enthusiasts with a sincere appreciation of our members and a strong commitment to help in any way we can. We\'ve made a decent showing in the world rankings, and welcome the most casual to the most crazy crunchers, alike.

As an early Christmas present, B.C. BOINC members got bragging rights in the early hours of December 24th, 2007, when we passed one million total cobblestones across all projects the team is involved in. Way to go, everyone!

boinc.at a relaxed Team with charming computing power

Boinc.at was founded in 2005, it is a steadily growing, upcomming team and as of now on the 2nd place in Austria. We have a pleasing forum, team- and user statistics, BOINC-FAQ and nice crunchers which you can also meet in real life at occasional forum meetings!
If you still crunch without beeing in a team (or your old team got boring ;) ), meet us at boinc.at and join our team in the projects you are crunching. Crunching together in a team is much more fun! See you at boinc.at!

Talking of stats, team Scotland now has some absolutely brilliant stats for all the team\'s climate models, produced and maintained by IanM - link here - and we have now completed more than 500 climate models, including BBC and SAP. ;-)

Join Team \'Allprojectstats.com\'. Take a good look at this ever-developing Boinc Combined Statistics Site which the team represents. It includes some very cool features which you won\'t find on other sites of this kind.

-FULL Team Member List, which shows you not only \'Full\' members, but also \'Partial\' members (those who have another predominant team but are crunching a few projects for the team displayed)

-Target Calculator: You enter the Credit Target that you\'re aiming for, and you\'ll get a precise date as to when you should achieve your goal (excluding any outages and quorum issues, obviously)

AND there are already some other new features on the drawing board.

Join Now; BOINCing is fun but even more so when you\'re part of the RIGHT Team:
