I note my programmes hung up for a couple of days for no obvious reason - this seems to be cured by suspending and then un-suspending. It now seems happy as Larry - any ideas what is happening?

Hi James,
You have had 5 models fail so far so it may have looked as if your model had rewound, but in fact it had had started a new one from scratch. Take a look at this post over on the BBC boards. It\'s exactly the same model over there so the solutions apply equally here.
If you suspend the model make sure you do it on the Projects tab. If you do it on the Tasks tab you might accidentally get another model downloaded, which is possibly why you currently have 2 models running.
Another possibibility is that what you are seeing is the way BOINC switches between tasks. Having 2 models means that BOINC shares its time between them equally so it will run one model for say 30 mins then pause it while it runs the other one for 30 mins. With a slower processor, I would have advised stopping one of the models, but your\'s being fast enough, I would let them both run.
The graphics use a lot of processor power that could be better used running the model so for best performance have your screensaver set to Blank screen, or a simple generic one, and only look at the graphics occasionally.

Hope that\'s of help.
