Hi,

I\'ve just swappde the CPU to be a dual core, reinstalled (repaired) BOINC, rebooted and run the CPU benchmarks (hoping that might force it to spot the extra CPU it can use).

Is there something I am supposed to do to let it use spare cycles on both CPU\'s ?

Cheers,
Herb

Hi,

On the website, \'your account\', \'view general preferences\', \'edit\', change the \'use at most multiprocessors\' setting from 1 to 2, then save.

Once you\'ve done that, open up the boinc manager, and \'update\' the project. This will download the new settings.
