1. How do I tell my computer when to work on each project? I have Rosetta@home and climateprediction.net working and I can\'t figure out how my computer is deciding on which project to run at a certain time. (Or am I just seeing the screen saver of a project when they are really both running at the same time)

2. I was really excited when I saw that I could change what was displayed on the globe (temperature gradients, pressure heights, etc) but once I clicked Ctrl + some key, it stopped running the research because it thought I was active, is there any way to solve this?

Thanks and sorry if this has all ready been answered but I couldn\'t find and answer to this question.

There is an option in General preferences (on your Account page), that determines when the projects switch: Switch between applications every

There are also two other options just above this:

Do work while computer is in use?
Do work only between the hours of

However, what has most likely happened, is that the screen saver has stopped running when you touched the keyboard or mouse.
The screen saver is totally separate to the science application, which will keep running unless you have one of the options above selected. (The 2nd or 3rd.)

We tend not to run it as a screensaver (set to \'blank\'), and use \'show graphics\' as required.

There are a couple of reasons - firstly the graphics takes a lot of CPU power which would have gone to the model, and second, it\'s less likely to fall over with a -107... error if the graphics aren\'t in use.
I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.

With ref to the above about project switching, I have tried this and my comp still does not switch between the two experiments I am running unless I do it manually. Any other suggestions?

Thank you

Do you have messages that your computer is in EDF (Earliest Deadline First) mode?
