Sending scheduler request - Error Code 504

'98 VFR800 Send message Joined: 18 Oct 04 Posts: 1 Credit: 28,347,730 RAC: 3,394	Message 20725 - Posted: 24 Feb 2006, 15:19:12 UTC I am getting the following in the Message section of the BOINC manager: 2/24/2006 10:27:07 AM\|climateprediction.net\|Sending scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 2/24/2006 10:28:07 AM\|climateprediction.net\|Scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi failed with a return value of 504 This is happening on my work computer for the last couple of days. Note to implementors: some deployed proxies are known to return 400 or 500 when DNS lookups time out. Are you having wider DNS related problems at work? Has anything been changed on the proxy server?
