Hi Paul,

I edited your message and removed the cross project ID (as this could be used unethically by others), and the e-mail address (to reduce spam harvesting).

Hello,

P. Pittman
Account number: 161710
BOINC manager 5.2.13

Your applications are running on two of my computers:

1.) Computer ID, 377952, Power Mac G4 dual processor 1.0 GHz, Mac OS 10.3.9
sulphur_i2l7_100843163_0 AND
sulphur_13pb_200844607_0

2.) Computer ID, 377787, eMac, one 1.25 GHz processor, Mac OS 10.3.9
sulphur_i27l_100842673_0
(machine number 2 is also listed with ID number 382975 under my account and on the “Messages” tab of the BOINC manager window)

While running on machine number 1, above, there have been many (3 to 6 per day) crashes. The only other application running during all crashes is Apple’s Activity Monitor 1.0, (v19). A crash log bearing the name of one of your applications has been generated:

sulphur_um_4.22_powerpc-apple-darwin.crash.log .

However, this log’s modification date precedes the last dozen or so crashes. The system log was copied into a text editor immediately following restart after the last two crashes. I could send these, but they are long (13 pages each), tedious, and, well, rather dry reading.

As a result of these crashes, I have had to restrict execution of your apps on machine number 1. Machine number 2, the eMac, has been running the sulphur cycle without any crashes. Please advise and let me know if you want additional info regarding the crashes.

Thanks much, Paul Pittman

From user Thyme Lawne...

Hi Paul,

It looks like you need to install the additional library package. It\'s required to run the graphics on the Mac.

BTW, it\'s not a good idea to include too much personal information in massages. Although we all hope that people are here for the right reason there\'s no guarantee that peole with malicious intent aren\'t reading the messages. You won\'t be able to edit the information now, but I\'ll contact the moderators and get them to remove it for you.
