Ok I just signed up for the climate prediction thing and the whole concept seemed pretty cool. So I made an account and started running this thing on my old G3 Powerbook (400mhz) 320mb RAM.

I left it to run for about 12 hours, and made some decent progress. But all my progress disapeared when I closed the app to reboot. Is there some way to save data? Because it is not automatically saving my progress.

It is werid, I still have the CPU time, but the progress is back to 0%.

I also can\'t edit the preferences for the BOINC application. Don\'t know if that\'s just me?

The model should checkpoint several times an hour.
But somehow you have managed to download a number of models.
And you now have two computer IDs. Perhaps you disconnected, and then reattached.

As for not being able to edit prefs, how far do you get?
Can you get into the edit mode?
Do you get any error messages?
