What does this mean exactly?

This limits how much of the CPU will be diverted to the graphics thread when it is running.

Meaning what exactly??
I have a reasonable PC but with a slow graphics card. Do I set the number low, meaning the CPU will be doing the work, or do I set a high number here? I still don\'t follow what it means exactly.
With a fast gfx card such as an nVidia 6600 or better, does it matter?

Neil.

The best thing to do is to not use the screensaver (set it to blank), and then look at the graphics via \'show graphics\' instead. Then you can ignore this setting...

This is how much of the CPU time will allowed to be devoted to graphics. A low number here will tend to make the graphics jerky, but the processing faster. A fast graphics card that does most of the graphics computation itself will not use much CPU time anyway.

My advice is that if you care more about crunch times, you set the graphics % fairly low (5% or so), or turn off the graphics entirely.
