I live in the country and we just had a power outage, I am on battery backup, however it didn\'t do a soft shutdown as it was supposed to.
Now when I restarted the computer and BOINC my WU is all messed up. It shows 281:00 hr \"CPU Time\", 0.68% \"Progress\" and 41375:04 hr. \"To completion\".
The CPU Time is correct, however the Progress is way out, it should be around 68.0%. What if anything can I do to fix this issue. or should I just \"Reset the Project\" Are all those hours and data lost.?

It\'s possible that BOINC is just confused about the times. It isn\'t very good at estimating the long period required for this project at the best of times.
Especially version 5.*
I\'d suggest that you leave it for a few days and see if it sorts itself out.
And make a backup of the entire BOINC folder right now. AFTER stopping BOINC, so that the numerous files don\'t get out of sync!

This happens occasionally during unintended shutdowns. CPDN loses its place and starts over at timestep 1 of phase 1, yet keeps the CPU time. This gives ridiculous values for s/TS and grossly inflated (and inaccurate) time to completion.

Unless you have a backup...

If you are into it for the stats, then you should do a reset to get a new WU as you will see no more trickles and get no more credits until you pass the point you were at when it crashed.

If you are into it for the science, then you could continue on and rerun this model to completion.

Frustrating I know. I\'ve had this happen twice to me over the last year due to power cuts, one in the 2nd phase and another in the 3rd. I\'ve had many more power cuts than just those two over the last year, so it is not a frequent occurrence, but an extremely irritating one.
