The 2 largest Belgian teams BOINC.BE and Belgian MoOo Farm have joined forces. Together they will take on even bigger challenges and put Belgium on the Boinc map.

Belgian MoOo Farm lives on as a subteam of boinc.be, alongside BAT, boinc.be\'s special operations subteam. The subteams independently choose their course and can join the other subteams in their actions. Or take them on head-to-head in internal competions.

If you are from Belgium, or just like Belgians, come join us at http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_join_form.php?id=148. If you have an own Belgian team and would like your team to be part of our effort to put Belgium on the Boinc map, come talk to us in our forum at http://www.boinc.be/vbulletin.

SETI.USA was formed to consolidate people in the USA onto a single team with the goal of becoming the number 1 team in the world. The United States has nearly THREE times as many users and nearly FIVE times more credit than any other country. However, as there are so many people in different USA teams and many without any team affiliation, other counties appear to be doing better.

Our team has been in existence for just a little over a year and a half and we have already become the most productive team in BOINC and currently hold the #5 position in the world for total credit. We are the only team to ever reach a RAC of 800,000 for combined projects and currently have a goal of 850,000 by Thanksgiving. We are well on our way to accomplishing our goal but we need your help. The USA has always been known for rising up and overcoming challenges like this.

We would like to extend an invitation for YOU to join us in our quest. If you are interested or would just like to check us out, please feel free to come by our message board at http://www.setiusa.net/phpBB2/. We would be most happy to answer any questions you may have.

If you decide to join us just click this link http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=3025 and then click the “Join Team” button.

You are cordially invited to join the Scotland team, which is open to anyone interested in our beautiful country, wherever they live and whether or not they have Scottish roots.

We have our own friendly, lively and helpful team forum, which is part of the Scottish Community Forums. It has many visitors from all over the world, including members of other climate prediction teams and others who are not involved in distributed computing at all.

To date our main project has been the BBC Climate Change Experiment, in which we have so far achieved 50 complete models, more than 9 million credits and are currently ranked second in total credits! We now also have a team in Climateprediction.net and a team thread in the CPDN forums.

Here are the relevant links – please try them out and we look forward to welcoming you to our forums and perhaps to our team!

Team Scotland forums and Scottish Community Forums – everyone welcome.

BBC CCE Team Scotland web page. Because the BBC is now not issuing new models, you can only join this part of the team if you are already taking part in the BBC experiment.

There are also various Team Scotland threads in the Number Crunching and Café CPDN sections of the BBC CCE user forum

Scotland team in CPDN. Members of our BBC team will gradually move here as our BBC models complete (or otherwise come to an end!), Please join us!

The Scotland team thread in CPDN – everyone welcome!

We look forward to meeting you soon!

Remember the Aussie Assault on SETI@Home a couple of months back?
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=35817

Well, we\'re at it again! AA5 has been mounted on http://abcathome.com/
and it has turned into a fantastic struggle - BOINC@AUSTRALIA versus l\'Alliance Francophone.

Here\'s a clip from the project news section;

06 February, 2007
It\'s been a while since the last news. Everything is running pretty good, and we\'re very satisfied. Currently there is a friendly exciting competition going on between Boinc Australia and all french speaking persons gathered in l\'Alliance Francophone. Who will win is an interesting question, the French speaking guys have assembled an entire army, but the Australians are tough! Or will a third team arise and claim victory? Further more, today I rewrote part of the stats daemon, I hope it will be implemented tomorrow: stats can be updated more frequently and it contains a few bug fixes.

....and you can follow some of the battle here -
http://abcathome.com/forum_thread.php?id=76#1638

AA5 is scheduled to run until February 14th and it will be interesting to see the final result
of this David vs. Goliath face-off!
http://abcathome.com/top_teams.php?sort_by=total_credit

Of course, anyone can join in the fun - it\'s not just the race for No.1 !

Just to update this, team Scotland has now completed 61 BBC models and another 5 team members currently have models in their final decade. Members are transferring to CPDN as their BBC models complete, but we still hope to reach at least 10 million credits in BBC and have already almost reached 12 million credits in BOINC overall

You are most welcome to join our happy, friendly, funny, helpful, successful team!
