Okay here are my system specs
-windows 2000 SP4
-AMD XP3200 1024 RAM
-truck loads of HD space
-CPDN hadsm3 4.13

Okay I am currently 16% done with a work unit for CPDN. To this day I have never been able to complete a work unit because just near the end of the WU I somehow create a client error -1073741818 (0xc0000006) and it is always the same. Now here are the symptoms: I download a new WU, and my computer starts to crunch normally, and my completion time is around 618 hours Then: between 10 and 30 hours into the project my completion time jumps to 16,000+ hours, and it looks as if the computer is actually computing but it is not, when I try to update the results it always posts a 0. And if you look at the patern of my user stats on the BOINC stats page you see that pattern. I post credits for some days, then for the nest 6 to 20 days I post nothing then I get the client error and have to download a new WU, so the cycle begins again...

On this particular machine I am running CPDN and Einstein 4.79. I have never had a prob with Einstein but CPDN has always been a prob even before I installed the Einstein Project. If you go to my stats you can see the pattern that I am talking about. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I feel that I am wasting the WU\'s because I can never complete one...

Sounds like a benchmark problem. See <a href=\"http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2893\">this thread</a>.

Not sure about whether solving this with 4.45b will help avoid the crash though.
