BOINC client cannot send result to server for a several hours:
8/20/2005 1:08:49 PM|climateprediction.net|Temporarily failed upload of 0j8h_100045204_0_2.zip: -106

What it mean? Is it server problem?

PS in my client_state file upload url is
http://uploader1.atm.ox.ac.uk/cpdn_cgi/file_upload_handler
can anyone check their client_state file?

Same here, the upload handler seems to be shutdown or offline or so

p.s.: I cannot traceroute it and ping doesn't work either

I uploaded a result with all its files about 1 hour ago though so it might be a temporary problem.

Afaik. there are various upload handlers, I cannot figure out which one worked yesterday as the entry is gone from client_state.xml as the upload succeeded.

Currently at least two upload handlers seem not to work, one in Bern (that's where my current upload is attached to) and one in Oxford (that's where yours is stuck, saw that in other postings too).

So there's not much we can do but wait, when the weekend is over, things will sure get fixed :-)

I am getting the same problem since yesterday, but with an error of -504. I have a number of work units queued up at the moment.

They are currently having totally unrelated hardware problems with 2 of the upload servers. See Carl's post here.

Hello,

This problem has been going on for just about a week. I am at the end of the run and am trying to get the results uploaded and clear out my Transfer Queue. Is there anyone who has an idea of when this problem will be corrected? I am going to keep on crunching but I am concerned that the 'trickles' will start backing-up in my transfer queue as well. When that starts happening I will just suspend the project until it is up and running again.

Trickles have been uploading for at least 12 hours.
And I think that models are uploading to Oxford again. It's just the models going to Bern that are still help up.
