Hi everyone,

is it possible to run ClimatePrediction with dual CPU computer. To be more precise I thought on installing Linux on this machine and then activating two shell windows simultaneously.
Ofcourse I would install BOINC software twice in different folders and run them as separate processes.

Would this be possible what do you think ???
Did anybody try it yet with success under Linux ???

Thank You...

In the General Preferences for your account, there is an option something like..."On a multi-processor PC, use at most xx processors". This, by default, is set to 2. So on a dual CPU, it will run 2 instances of CPDN without making two BONIC folders or opening 2 terminal windows. This is how most users (Windows or Linux) run more than one model on a PC.
