I started BOINC&CPDN on another PC and it downloads a hadsm 4.10 model. Is this the new Sulfur cycle? [excited]

This is an older PC; something like a P2, but I don't know the Mhtz. It's running like 10s/Ts! Is this PC simply that slow or are there startup calculations and it will speed up later or is it the additional sulfur calculations?

Info on this is probably around, but searching on the BOINC boards is sooo bad.

If it's sub 1 GHz speed, 10 sec/TS is probably close to what you'll get in regular BOINC CPDN.

You aren't running the sulphur model, it's still in alpha. And if you were, it would probably be taking 16 to 20 sec/TS for that PC, and there are 5 phases instead of 3, so figure about 200 days if it were running the sulphur model on that PC.

May it be this machine - a 733MHz PII?

version 4.10 & 4.11 for win 32 and linux respectively has the ffg changes.
The model now ensures that the client is always running otherwise exits gracefully.
No more hanging model process. Some other bug fixes not listed here.
Graphics enhancements: on windows & linux.
also a new cylindrical projection mode - key W ( NB: not available in alpha so2 - sorry )

I like the new W view. It's nice too see the whole surface area of the earth at once. It will be espically useful for posting screenshots on the boards.

Can you post one sample here so others can see?

OK, there is a sample.

I noticed that there is a new logo, albeit i have been told (upon sending two variants off new CPDN logo - see below) that new logo is not on aganeda since old one is well recognized (emoticon confused).

Does anyone know what the huge targa file is for? It's similar to the map in the menu under User Map.
