I have 3 different BOINC projects on my computer (SETI, ClimatePrediction, and Einstein). I have each set to run after my computer has been idle for 15 mins. My BOINC default prefs are to run after 15 mins of idle. However, every time I look at the Work tab of BOINC, it says one of the three projects are running. My computer is also always using 100% of my cpu. What I want is for only one project to run at a time, and for it to start running after 15 mins of idle. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?
Thanks in advance!

The idle detection in the current release of BOINC isn't very reliable. I've done some testing with the version that should be released soon and it appears to work fine in that.

As your system is registered with 1 CPU BOINC should only be running one project at a time, but if you have your preferences set to keep applications in memory when BOINC swaps to another project you should see all 3 projects in your process list. That setting is advisable for CPDN as it checkpoints every 144 timesteps (if you are set to remove from memory CPDN will have to recalculate any timesteps done since the last checkpoint).
