I have compiled it, the binary works fine, but your server doesn't like me. Here is the message I get.

Give Oxford uni's computing lab and/or Oxford uni's Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics group lots of money so that they can hire additional programmers, buy appropriate compilers, and an appropriate computer to use for a G5 version.

With only the one programmer left, all effort is concentrated on the bulk of users, which means Intel and AMD computers.

The program, as has been mentioned many times on this site, is one of several developed by the Met Office over many decades by a lot of scientists. The source code is HUGE, and takes several hours to compile. And then it needs to be tested.
It is the same Fortran code that runs on 64bit super computers at the Hadley Centre.

The next 'direction' the 'desktop' programs will probably go, is 64bit for Intel / Amd. And that's some time off yet.
So I'm afraid that you have taken the wrong computer path for 'power computing' on this project.
