We are about plus 2.000 extra trickling comparing ro pre-Nature article and PR around; it has been just about 23.000 on the day on bet.

I would believe that there would be no 'if' but 'when' we reach 30k machines.

Those are the classic figures, aren't they?
How about http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/graph-project.php?project=cpdn

Yes, that is the one I've been looking at. I think it shows users only after they have trickled. Can anyone confirm this?

That graph seems to following figures from the project totals page.

&gt;I think it shows users only after they have trickled.

Yes I woould agree with that. Big changes in the numbers of total users seem to followed (upto a couple of days later) by similar changes in the active host count.

Well, the graph tell Number of Users, right. It's about 25k now (graph is not very detailed in term of scale}. But when looking at the Project Stats page, you will see over 46k users right now (this figure was That graph seems to following figures from the project totals page.

I'm seing some interesting spikes on the user and recent credit graphs:
<a href="http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=stats_project_astropulse&amp;project=cpdn">www.boinc.dk</a>

Going to speed up the number of computed models quite a bit I think.

The project stats page shows over 46k total users but 26k active hosts.

The graph at http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/graph-project.php?project=cpdn shows just under 25k users which is a little below the 26k active hosts. I think it has been a little below for a long time.

30093 tricking machines by 31 Jan 2005 afternoon. If we continue at this rate my guess (35211) will occur about my birthday 21 Feb.

So we have switched to total trickling (BOINC + classic) now?

Haha. This is fun, but 3 weeks isn't long. Maybe Mike's birthday should be the cut-off date for entries and the date for the winning total could be Easter Sunday 27th March? (unless someone else has another handy birthday?) Plenty of time then to think/talk about the implications of new users joining (and then maybe leaving) after last week, and E@H going public etc...

And if the WOW mugs are ready by then I'll treat the winner to a mug :-)

Well the when is now. 30091 active hosts - about 7250 more than just before
the results published. (The total users has increased by about 15475, and while clearly not all of these will reach their first trickle, there may be some way to go before this spike reaches its peak.)

BOINC has also now done more than half the completed runs done on classic.

Does anyone know whether the 1 in 8 proportion (number of successful models as proportion of number downloaded) has improved recently?

Yeah, 30k active machines. BOINC has a very good performance.
For those knowing classic CPDN - there is a first box breaking 1.000 climate model years milestone.
Hurry up to Top200 before stats get messed-up during next update.
