I've tried detaching and reattaching the project several times. Nothing changes.

Hi, I would erase all files except the boinc client and try again, it could be reading invalid prefs from the .xml files. Also use http://climateprediction.net to attach to (to be consistent)

Carl:

Would this also apply to those of us who have had a model crash then failed upload ? Delete everything from except the boinc client and try again? (Note: See the Linux forum for more information on the errors some of us have received)

Thanks

Yeah on a major crash it's probably best to go to the boinc directory and:

rm -rf projects slots *.xml *.html lock*

(that's assuming there's no SETI or other project info you need to keep, i.e. you want to remove everything except boinc_4.02* client)
